CONTENT IS NOT UPDATING ON THE SITE
Sometimes when updating content over SFTP, or in the WordPress Admin Dashboard, you might not see your changes reflected immediately when viewing the site. The reason for this is that our caching system is doing what it’s meant to do – caching your site’s content to make it load faster. Most of the time this can easily be resolved by purging your site’s cache!
HOW TO PURGE THE SITE CACHE
There is a way to purge your cache at Force WP
PURGING THE SITE CACHE IN YOUR WORDPRESS ADMIN DASHBOARD
The first and most thorough method of clearing your site’s cache is within your WordPress Admin Dashboard. You just need to know where to look!
- First, log into your site’s WordPress Admin Dashboard (yoursite.com/wp-admin/)
- Just choose the Force WP tab at the left, then “General Settings” from the menu.
- On this page, choose “Purge All Caches”. This purges all caching layers: general site caching, Object Caching, and CDN cache (if you’re utilizing CDN).
